Application Approval

Once your application is approved by the owner of the property, your Property Manager will contact you and advise you of the good news.

Upon your verbal acceptance of the property, your Property Manager will schedule an appointment with you for you to attend the office to sign all of the necessary tenancy documentation, including signing of Lease Agreement and Bond Lodgement form.

An email will then be sent to you confirming in writing your approval, commencement date, rent and bond amount.

At your lease sign up appointment you will be required to pay the bond by either EFTPOS (charges apply), Bank Cheque or Money Order made payable to Jacalo Property Pty Ltd. Your Property Manager will also provide you with a specialised ‘Welcome Pack’ by email which contains the following:

• New tenant Welcome Letter
• Maintenance request form
• Arrears policy
• Rent payment options
• RTA Tenant Booklet

Prior to your lease commencement date you will be required to pay the first two weeks rent in the form of Direct Bank Transfer / EFTPOS,  Bank Cheque or Money Order.

You will then be asked to sign for the keys to your new home in the day your Lease starts.

You will also be given a detailed copy of the Entry Condition Report for your property which will need to be returned to our office, with any additional comment in written detail, within 3 business days.
